The Mysterious Minder Ave "Paving Event"

This "Paving Event", undocumented by the City, was cancelled only at the last moment.

According to Bisbee City Manager Pauken, the accompanying photographic documentation of this narrowly averted "Paving Event" is merely "anecdotal."

Opinion: The Confusing Truth about Lying

The Needs to Happen Minder "Paving Event"

This portion of Minder Ave leading to Yuma Trail (which sees far, far more traffic) is desperately in need of a "Paving Event". Does the City put off paving this accident waiting to happen merely because Mayor Beauchamp has no friends living here?

Is there really a Method to this Madness?

In the seven months since the Minder Ave "Paving Event" was mysteriously aborted, just a few blocks away the portion of Minder Ave leading uphill to Yuma Trail has taken on the bumpy feel of the crumbling, bombed-out streets of Baghdad.

Still, all the many residents who use Minder Hill will have to wait their turn. Before Minder Hill gets any black top, City Hall has seen to it that McKee Ave (perhaps the least used street in town) is (very sloppily) paved. Even the alley behind City Hall has been fully paved. Why, you might ask, would this City ever need the required City Engineer when present staff can prioritize with such skill?
